Advanced Safety
Since the Nissan Kicks is a new model, the NHTSA
and IIHS haven't released their crash test scores, but with ample available and
standard safety features, the Nissan Kicks will keep you and your loved ones
safe. You'll get features like front and side airbags, including the second row
of seats getting side impact airbags. Standard features include a rearview
backup camera, forward collision warning, and front automatic emergency
braking.
Available active safety features include blind-spot
monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. If you opt for
the Exterior Electronics package, you'll get exterior ground lighting included
with your rear parking sensors, for a better view of what's behind
you.
Performance and Engine
All new Kicks models come standard with a 1.6-liter
inline four-cylinder engine, providing 125-horsepower. This might not seem like
it's a thrilling engine, but it offers enough power to get the job done. The continuously
variable transmission shifts with ease, giving you a smooth and enjoyable ride.
The suspension soaks up rough roads, potholes, and everything in between to
give you a comfortable ride, no matter what. A light and responsive steering
feel means you'll love taking your Nissan Kicks for a spin on the winding back
roads around Grand Rapids. The Nissan Kicks gets truly outstanding fuel
economy, so you can spend less time at the pump, and less money. The EPA
estimates that the 2018 Nissan Kicks earns 36 mpg on the highway, and a
respectable 31 mpg in the city, with a combined rating of 33 mpg.
If you're looking for something that will evoke the
feel of a sports-car, the Nissan Kicks might not be your first choice, but that
doesn't mean the drive-feel is boring and uninspired. You'll feel sprightly and
nimble as you navigate through the streets of Michigan in your Nissan Kicks.
The suspension is geared towards comfort, so you'll enjoy a smooth and balanced
ride, no matter where you go.
